The Professional Team at Clear-Con

• Thomas E. Davis, President
Thomas (Tommy) E. Davis founded Clear-Con, LLC in February, 2001.  His duties with the company cover every facet of the business including accounting, project management, human resources, and equipment maintenance.

Tommy has 21 years of land clearing experience. As a teenager, he would work on clearing projects in the summer for his father. These early experiences lead to his desire to remain in this industry and some day own his own company. He has held the position of Superintendent with D. R. Phillips, Inc. and the positions of Superintendent and Vice-President with Robbinsville Contracting Co., Inc. He has managed and completed projects in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Virginia, Mississippi, Indiana, South Carolina and North Carolina. These projects were owned by various agencies including The Federal Highway Administration, Corp of Engineers, numerous departments of transportation, various utility companies and literally hundreds of private developers.

• Wil Wilson, Estimator
Wil Wilson has been an employee since September, 2002. He was hired as an operator and by March, 2003 was promoted into a Superintendent position. In January of 2008, Wil was promoted to Chief Estimator. Wil also plays key roles in project management with Donald Johnson, and corporate development along side Tommy Davis.

Wil brings 12 years of mass clearing and dirt moving experience to the table.

Wil is a 1997 graduate of Tuscola High School in Waynesville, NC and was President of The Future Farmers of America Tuscola High School Chapter in 1996-97.

• Donald Johnson, Project Manager
Donald Johnson has been an employee since February, 2001. Donald began as a Superintendent and became a Project Manager in January, 2005. Donald’s duties entail management of all current projects, safety enforcement, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance.

Donald brings 30 years of mass clearing experience to the table and is a 1974 graduate of Stecoah High School in Graham County NC, and successfully completed NC Basic Law Enforcement Training at Southwestern Technical College in Sylva, NC

• Danny Wise, Superintendent
Danny Wise has held the position of Superintendent since October, 2007. Danny’s duties entail coordinating with prime & subcontractors, overseeing production, mobilization, and quality control. He also plays a key role in recruiting highly qualified equipment operators & field personnel.

Danny is a 1975 graduate of South Johnston High School in Four Oaks NC and brings 32 years of mass clearing & grading experience to the table.

• Keith Garrison, Superintendent
Keith Garrison has held the position of Superintendent since February, 2004. Keith’s duties entail coordinating with prime & subcontractors, overseeing production, mobilization, and quality control. Keith also plays a key role in recruiting highly qualified equipment operators & field personnel.

Keith is a 1990 graduate of Robbinsville High School in Robbinsville, NC and brings 18 years of mass clearing experience to the table.
